If you take take just a minute per day to watch what surrounds your everyday life maybe you´ll be able to see more than to watch. We live in a city that is alive, that wakes up every morning as we do to see what does the new day offers, we are the compounds of it, we make her beat, smile, cry, jell, scream, dance, walk.

Not just our house is our home because more than that the place that we inhabit is the city, the urban enviroment, the place where we develope and express ourselves.

The skin of the city has scars, many lines that tell its story, its feelings. Here are some of the beautiful scars of Bogota, some of the ones that make her unique, different, the ones that express the best and the worst of the ones that as me occupy it. It´s more than a compilation its an introspective voyage to find out who we really are... enjoy the... this story will continue in further articles

bogota flea *freaky* market

Walking through Bogotá centre you would never expect to find a place like this flea market located in the 22nd street with 7th avenue. Here time seem to be freezed since many time ago, but every shop of the market stopped at a different time. It´s incredible to watch the mixture of objects that superpose one from another like if they were trying to get the attention of an unprepared victim that would save them from their own destiny.

Compositions are created ramdomly, every object captures the feeling of a time, the continuous moves of urban development, and makes us reflect about how the pass of time never stops, makes us reflect about many things, about all those call ups that we receive from our unconscious, each one will give each image it´s own meaning.

Time to dream, but most of all to remember, a journey through our memories, each one of us will create its own connections, enjoy the ride inside...

buenos aires earth textures / el tigre

Just to turn our backs and discover that behind the city there are wonderful things that we normally don´t see, every detail of our world is more than gorgeous,there are daily miracles that hide themselves behind us.

To turn back to the roots, to what´s essential, to every piece of nature that connect us back with our beginnings. There´s no need to go far away, to travel huge distances, just to look for a place where the smell of wood impregnates our senses, to touch though a piece of clay the hand of the one who created the object.

To get in touch, to be able to see the incredible scale of greys that clay can offer, to create by appreciating the creation of others, to look back and realize that we not as far as we believe from them.

And as I always say, to relax, take a look at the enviroment, and in this case very calmly...enjoy this delightful ride

buenos aires bizarre nights

The night is coming, here in Sin City we start feeling the beat, the strange energy that is taking over Buenos Aires, we are preparing ourselves to become one, to sincronize our heart beats with the city throbs, the sound of the cars start to create a weird symphony.

Untill sunrise and every night we repeat this story like a deja vú, we travel with our minds to places occupied by characters that only dare to appear in our deepest dreams, this is more or less like a "midsummer night´s dream", but located in a contemporary space, here we take our masks and decide what character do we want to play, maybe a pan, maybe a fairy... we are one and all, buenos aires night is where we grant respite to our loneliness, here in the sleepless city inhabited by the 24 hour party people, anything can happen, love can appear and vanish in one night.

Because here all dreams come true, and on the next day we´ll dress up and slowly go back to that that we aren´t.

Untill the rush comes... we´ll enjoy the ride....

buenos aires urban expedition

Secret pasages, lost stories, many loves, many hates, Europe once came to South America, but in the way home something was lost, that is Buenos Aires, the melancholy of inmigrants that came to these new lands to continue creating their history, to start from zero to forget about the pain and, mainly they did it. But the memoirs of those lands where they have always wanted to return never dissapeared. They stayed present and you can feel it when you walk through San Telmo´s streets, all the culture was traduced into great buildings, great mixture of architectural styles, yet everytime you turn around and you look into an old man wrinkles you´ll be able to feel that there´s something they grieve for.

Buenos Aires is one my passionate loves, it´s easy to get involved by this Sin City, I love almost everything about it, but mainly it´s melancholic character under the mask of a non sleep city, full of 24 hour party people, full of beauty, of mistery, of hidden miracles that occur almost every block. This is why I decided to do my first introduction exposing her soul, her most secret fears. To start from the inside until we get to the shallow part, so, enjoy the ride...

finally being born / me / the bizarre blogger

I´ve wishing to create my blog long time ago, but as you all know we never have the time to do those things, and when we have it we prefer to do something else. But somedays ago I decided not to subordinate this any longer. I realized that even if its sounds like a common place life is very short and what we don´t do today maybe tomorrow will be too late.

What can I tell you besides that I´m almost an Industrial Designer (I´ll receive my degree in june), that I´m 24 years old, form Bogotá, Colombia and all that bla bla bla that you don´t really want to read. I love the urban enviroment, specially Bogota that is my native city, last year I lived in Buenos Aires and I felt in love with her in an irremedible way too, I love to travel and to get in touch with different cultures, but what interests me the most of these voyages is to get in touch with the popular culture, with those everyday events that seem to be common but that are the ones that bring in many times, unexpected treasures. I also love literature, fashion, arquitecture, photography, new media art, films, music videos...
Music is an essential part of my life, is the one that sets the rythm of my walk, my deepest feelings, to conclude my life comes with a soundtrack included.

As I told you I love the city but sometimes and even if this eviroment offers you innumerable options of enjoying life, I need in despair to run away to go back to those essential things that sometimes we forget.

I´m also romantic (almost cursi I must confess), a little neurotic, perfectionist, sensible, party lover, faithful, sporting (some mountain biking, spinning), stylish, chic... and zero stubborn jajaj!
